3rd Place West Side Stories Grand Slam

I performed this piece at the Mystic Theatre last year during West Side Story’s annual Grand Slam. It is a series of misadventures from my wild hair decision to drive a scooter in Tulum during my honeymoon — even though I’ve never driven one in my life.
Because I placed third on the contest, it was published by my local newspaper first but it was my intention to publish it first on Tell your story.
